Offers high performance with two Multilane SFF-8470 SATA interfaces that support six SATA hard drives and high-security AES 256-bit encryption. Strong AES 256-bit encryption protects your data if the hard drive falls into the wrong hands. CRU encryption is hardware based and encrypts every sector of the drive including boot sectors, swap space, and temp files. Data is encrypted in real time in the hardware completely independent of the operating system. A physical key is used to encrypt, decrypt, and grant access to the data. This means your important and sensitive data is safe.

TrayFree bays make adding drives effortless. It’s as easy as opening the door, sliding the drive in, and closing the door. No screws, no trays. It just works.

With two Multilane connections, you can combine up to six eSATA cables into one that is capable of moving data very quickly. CRU offers two external Multilane cable options for the host connection; a SFF-8470 to SFF8470 and a SFF-8470 to SFF-8088 cable. This gives you flexibility in your product setup and high performance for faster data write speeds.
