TD2u Forensic Duplicator

D2u: Extremely fast. Reliable. Easy to Use.

Built to excel in both field and lab forensic environments, the Tableau TD2u Forensic Duplicator is the perfect combination of easy operation, reliability, and ultra-fast forensic imaging performance. Tableau’s fourth-generation duplicator images at exceptional speeds in excess of 15GB/min while concurrently calculating MD5 and SHA-1 hashes. Blazing forensic imaging speed at this price point is a Tableau trait. Built with the most advanced technology, TD2u delivers.

Support for USB 3.0, SATA, IDE, and SAS

This compact forensic duplicator is loaded with features and built to perform. The TD2u natively images USB 3.0, SATA, and IDE/PATA storage devices. Investigators can (optionally) image SAS drives by using the same TDP6 module used with TD1 and TD2 duplicators.

USB 3.0 convenience and speed is built into the TD2u. Acquisitions of USB 3.0, SATA, and IDE/PATA devices can be directed to either USB 3.0 or SATA output devices. No special adapters or additional costs for USB 3.0 support are required.

TD2u can be used to make one (1:1), two (1:2), or three (1:3) copies of evidence drives. Standard features include Disk-to-Disk (clone) and Disk-to-File (image) duplication, Format, Wipe, Hash (MD5 or SHA-1), HPA / DCO detection and removal, and Blank Disk Check. TD2u outputs to raw DD, .e01 (compressed), .ex01 (compressed), or .dmg formats. As with all Tableau forensic products, TD2u is firmware upgradeable through the Tableau Firmware Update (TFU) utility.

Easy on the eyes color display

TD2u’s color LCD user interface provides crisp, easy-to-view operational and device status information. The color UI presents an at-a-glance visual of devices connected and ready for imaging. Information in TD2u’s extensive log files is easy to view and save. And we’ve maintained the operational menu structure that our users have grown to love with prior generation duplicators.

TD2u ships ready to use in protective foam sized to drop into a Pelican™ 1500 hard case and includes the new smaller, lighter, universal high-output Tableau TP5 power supply.
